Gmail & Yahoo Sender Requirements 2026: What Indian Senders Must Do

The requirements at a glance

Since February 2024, Gmail and Yahoo enforce strict requirements for anyone sending 5,000+ emails per day. In 2026 these thresholds are tightening further. Non-compliant mail gets rejected outright — not spam-foldered, rejected.

1. Authenticate everything

SPF and DKIM are mandatory. DMARC with at least p=none is required for bulk senders. If your domain lacks a DMARC record, Gmail will begin throttling your mail. Use the neuMails authentication wizard to generate all three records in minutes.
